Lisa has been playing guitar and singing since she was a young girl but spent most of her life as a "closet guitar player".  When she turned 40, she took a step to pursue her true passion and auditioned for a role in the rock/country musical "Cheatin' Hearts" with Rural Roots Theater - and received one of the lead roles.  From then there was no turning back as she rehearsed at open mics in the area.

She played her first solo gig in April 2009 and since has performed on her own, with a 6 piece band "Running Naked" and a duo "Aim2Please".  She is now feeling very fortunate to be playing with her partner in music and life, André Latreille, and they spend many evenings sharing their love for music.

André has always had a love of music and developed an interest for what Lisa calls "André  Music" or fusion jazz and progressive rock - and was particularly drawn to the impressionistic style of Alain Caron and other lead bass performers. He only started playing bass a little over three years ago with the help and patience from Lisa Kopil and other local talent. Ever grateful to have transitioned from listener to player, Andre has had the pleasure of performing with many gifted people and started a new lifelong learning obsession.
